From One Family to a Community Movement

When my family first moved to Arizona, we were so excited for everything that was waiting for us! I remember driving down a long stretch of desert and thinking, what BEAUTIFUL DIRT.

But it didn’t take long for this place to feel like home. Within the first week, neighbors showed up to help us unload our moving truck. We traded phone numbers with new friends, and slowly, we discovered something special here. Four years later, we still love this community and the people in it.

The only thing we felt was missing? More opportunities for our homeschooled children to learn, grow, and connect during school hours.

If you’re a parent in Arizona, you might also know the feeling. The options for classes, camps, and activities are limited — especially for homeschool families. I knew something had to change.

So I decided to build what I had always been searching for.

Home Is Our Sanctuary was born out of the belief that our kids deserve more. More chances to discover their talents. More mentors to inspire them. More community. And we can create it, together.

Home Is Our Sanctuary - Refund Policy

For singular events, refunds are available up to 7 days before the scheduled event date. Requests made within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund. For programs and ongoing enrollments, all seat/registration purchases are final. Once payment is made, the student will receive classes for the remainder of that paid month, after which they may unenroll to stop future payments.
